City of Marathon Fire Station No. 14 and EOC/ New two-story precast fire station and EOC/ 23,300 GSF
The new joint-use two-story Fire Station and EOC is comprised of 17,288 SF on the First Floor with 6,012 SF on Second Floor and provides fire protection services to both the City of Marathon and the Marathon Airport. The precast structure is engineered to withstand a Category 5 Storm event and serves as the City’s EOC Center.
The new facility includes administration offices, control room, radio room, multi-use public space, three-vehicle appartus/equipment bay, sleeping quarters, day room, full kitchen, and exercise room for on-duty firefighters.
The project scope included demolition, site clearing, and complete site development including infrastructure installation, lighting, stormwater management, and parking. Construction also required extensive coordination with the Airport and FAA.
