Seminole Fire Station 30 / Complete renovation, remodel and hardening of occupied fire station / 9,690 GSF

This project entailed complete renovation and remodel of the 9,690 SF fire station and building hardened to meet current fire station code criteria.

The scope included replacement of roof, all window/door assembly openings and new impact window/doors to achieve hurricane category five wind loads; new exterior stucco finish, and installation of retractable communications antenna. Interior renovations included selective demo, new fitness area, two new mechanical rooms, renovation and reconfiguration of administrative offices, day room, restrooms, kitchen and dining areas; and MEP systems replacement.

Carefully sequenced phasing was required and coordinated with the department to maintain full 24/7 operations throughout construction and ensure there was no disruption to emergency call systems.
