Broward County Environmental Lab Building / New lab construction LEED Silver Category 5 Resistant / 11,000 GSF

This lab was built to provide Broward County scientific surveys and monitor programs to better protect the local environment.  Construction was performed on an active occupied site and building consists of concrete block construction with glass curtain walls hardened to Category 5 wind loads. The lab features 37 electronically automated air-value exhaust drops coordinated to balance the intake air system as well as wet labs, articulating robotic arms, administration offices; conference Room; and all ancillary support space.
