City of Seminole Community and Historical Society / New construction and building renovations / 14,932 GSF

The new Community Center and Historical Society project included the demolition of the existing city hall and the a new 6,652 SF building addition and renovation of an existing 8,280 SF building providing the City with multi-use recreation/banquet space to accommodate seating up to 250 people. The facility includes a full commercial kitchen, conference room, reception area, and administration office.

A portion of the building houses the Seminole Historical Society, Museum Display Area and Gift Shop, with additional office space for Community Policing, Public Works Storage, and ancillary support areas. The project scope included total interior renovation and replacement of all exterior windows, doors, roll-up metal doors, stucco, related site work and landscaping. Constructed to USGBC Green Building Standards, the building features photovoltaic panels producing electricity for the facility.
