Clearwater Fire Station #45 / Administration Headquarters / EOC – 35,000 GSF

The 3-story Public Safety Headquarters/Administration and Fire Station 45 is Headquarters for the City’s Fire Department, housing the Fire Prevention and Inspection Division, the district chiefs for emergency
management, special operations and health and safety. Construction is architectural precast components, with impact windows “hardened” to withstand a Category-5 storm event, supported by redundant back-up
generator systems to maintain full operations. The exterior finish is thin brick cast-in panels and features a 3-story glass entryway.

New 3-story administration facility includes redundant back-up generator systems. The first floor houses the lobby; 4 equipment bays; training room; offices; and support spaces. The second floor houses sleeping quarters; kitchen/dining; exercise/weight room; dayroom; and fire-pole. The third floor houses administrative offices; radio dispatch and communication center; conference room; and support areas.

The facility includes a 911 Radio Dispatch and Emergency Operations Communication Center; large conference and roll call meeting room; employee lounge; restrooms; and stairwells. The project scope included complete site development such as infrastructure installation, lighting, parking; and demolition of existing structures.
